Player build guide

Anime Squadron Best Units & Teams

A practical build page for players: which core units matter, which traits deserve rerolls, and what team shape to use before spending rare materials.

Best units to build first

These are the units currently treated as account anchors or highest-impact role pieces.

Trait priority board

Premium traits are useful only when they land on a unit you expect to keep.

Monarch

SS

Treat Monarch as a premium damage trait class. Save premium rerolls for a keeper unit.

Top carries and Secret DPS

Ethereal

SS

Best treated as a high-roll trait for a long-term unit, not a filler upgrade.

Carry units that scale with speed or uptime

Overlord

S

Strong offensive value when SS traits are out of reach.

Main Carry and Boss Damage

Sniper

S

Useful when placement and coverage decide whether a stage stabilizes.

Range-sensitive clears

Prodigy

A

Good on units you are actively leveling, weaker once the unit is replaced.

Progression units

Economic

A

Only valuable when it changes upgrade timing or farming output.

Acceptable during progression, but do not chase perfect rolls on filler.
