Anime Squadron Best Units & Teams
A practical build page for players: which core units matter, which traits deserve rerolls, and what team shape to use before spending rare materials.
Best units to build first
These are the units currently treated as account anchors or highest-impact role pieces.
Gometa (SSJ4)
Main wave clear and boss pressure when fully supported.
Woo (Shadow)
Carry slot for accounts chasing banner Secret power.
Madora (Gunbai)
Late-stage wave clear and farming maps.
Shanron (Omega)
Raid and late-game damage after evolution investment.
Shinks
Boosting high-value carries in late-game teams.
Fastwagon
Economy slot for longer clears and early upgrade acceleration.
Trait priority board
Premium traits are useful only when they land on a unit you expect to keep.
Monarch
SSTreat Monarch as a premium damage trait class. Save premium rerolls for a keeper unit.
Ethereal
SSBest treated as a high-roll trait for a long-term unit, not a filler upgrade.
Overlord
SStrong offensive value when SS traits are out of reach.
Sniper
SUseful when placement and coverage decide whether a stage stabilizes.
Prodigy
AGood on units you are actively leveling, weaker once the unit is replaced.
Economic
AOnly valuable when it changes upgrade timing or farming output.
Common damage rolls
BAcceptable during progression, but do not chase perfect rolls on filler.
Team templates
New player clear team
Upgrade the carry first. Replace filler slots as soon as stronger Mythic units arrive.
Secret carry core
Use premium trait resources only after this core is stable.
Boss pressure team
If the boss survives too long, add boss damage before rerolling every unit.
Long-run farming team
Economy and support value rises as the run length increases.
