Anime Squadron Traits

Trait priority is about account timing: premium traits belong on keeper carries, while temporary units should get only practical progression rolls.

Keeper-unit rule

Do not chase Monarch, Ethereal, or other premium rolls until the unit is part of your long-term team.

Trait priority table

SS

Monarch

Treat Monarch as a premium damage trait class. Save premium rerolls for a keeper unit.

Top carries and Secret DPS
SS

Ethereal

Best treated as a high-roll trait for a long-term unit, not a filler upgrade.

Carry units that scale with speed or uptime
S

Overlord

Strong offensive value when SS traits are out of reach.

Main Carry and Boss Damage
S

Sniper

Useful when placement and coverage decide whether a stage stabilizes.

Range-sensitive clears
A

Prodigy

Good on units you are actively leveling, weaker once the unit is replaced.

Progression units
A

Economic

Only valuable when it changes upgrade timing or farming output.

Economy slots
B

Common damage rolls

Acceptable during progression, but do not chase perfect rolls on filler.

Temporary early units

Reroll rules

Use the keeper rule

Only chase premium traits like Monarch or Ethereal on a unit you expect to keep. A perfect trait on a temporary unit is still a temporary upgrade.

Carry before support

The main carry touches more waves and bosses than any other slot. Trait Shards go there first unless your carry is already stable and your support is clearly limiting the run.

Economy traits are conditional

Economy traits matter when they change upgrade timing. If the economy unit is not affecting the run, do not spend premium rerolls there yet.
